Anyway it is not just British who killed Native Indians. There were French in North America that time and they also killed Native Indians..

Kankun, Thanks for the correction. I really forgot that fact.

NEW DELHI: Even as it pushes Sri Lanka to renew political efforts towards resolving its bloody ethnic strife, India is virtually throwing open the doors of its different military institutions to train Sri Lankan soldiers.

In 2008-2009 alone, over 500 Sri Lankan officers and other ranks will receive training in institutions ranging from Counter-Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School at Vairengte (Mizoram) to School of Artillery at Devlali (Maharashtra), apart from undergoing specialised naval courses in gunnery, navigation, communication and anti-submarine warfare, say sources.

This comes even as India has also stepped up military supplies to Sri Lankan forces, even though they are 'largely defensive' in nature, as reported first by TOI.

This twin-prolonged strategy of arms supplies and military training, coupled with intelligence sharing and 'coordinated' naval patrolling, is primarily aimed to counter China's ever-growing strategic inroads into Sri Lanka.

In fact, the high-level delegation led by national security advisor M K Narayanan, which also included foreign secretary Shiv Shankar Menon and defence secretary Vijay Singh, to Colombo 10 days ago expressed India's concern over Sri Lanka increasingly turning to China and Pakistan for weapons.

Though India has not gone ahead with a long-pending military pact with Sri Lanka due to domestic 'Tamil sensitivities', it has reversed its earlier policy of not supplying arms to Colombo.

The arms transfer process, which really began with a Sukanya Class offshore patrol warship in 2002, has been speeded up in recent times, as has been the case with military training.

Though India trains soldiers from several countries, ranging from Maldives, Mauritius and Mongolia to Botswana, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, the facilities extended to Sri Lanka are far ahead of others.

The premier Indian Military Academy at Dehradun, for instance, is running two 'special courses' in 2008-2009 for as many as 100 'gentlemen cadets' from Sri Lanka.

Moreover, 39 Sri Lankan officers will undergo courses at College of Military Engineering at Pune, 15 in School of Artillery at Devlali, 29 in Mechanised Infantry Regimental Centre at Ahmednagar, 25 in College of Materials Management at Jabalpur, 30 in Electronics and Mechanical Engineering School at Vadodara, 14 at Military College of Telecommunication Engineering at Mhow

Sri Lankan forces arrest 60 Tamils in Vavuniyaa..

The system of Rajapaksa-Ponseka got infected by the virus called 'Monk-scam'..
It should be cleared by using the anti-virus from the LTTE, otherwise the whole system of sorry Lanka will be corrupted and it may need a re-formatting..

There are lot of similarities between Rajapaksa and Robert Mugabe..
First and for-most, both of them do not know what they are talking about, because they are the mouth piece of some back fighters..
The second one, both of them depend on 'Thugs' to run the Country..
The third and the hidden truth is, Mugabe wants to eliminate the Whites from his country with the help of Black thugs, and Rajapaksa wants to get rid of Tamils from Sri Lanka with the help of 'Pons' Thugs..
South Africa blindly supporting the policy of Mugabe and Rajapaksa is supported by Indians due to the Hitler style elimination of Tamils..
Even though the Tamils are well educated and financially sound, due to lack of unity among them,it is very difficult for them to have their own identity..
At least,if they do not learn from the Jews, the days are not far for them to be eliminated by the Hitler Rajapaksa..Haaaa Huuuuuu

The Sri Lankan police and forces will arrest the Chinese and the Malays when there is evidence that they are involved in terrorist activities, naturally. Until then let us not make too many headlines about Tamils being arrested in Vavuniya or anywhare else because if they are not then they can easily travell all over the country and place their little exploding parcels.
The Hindus and the Jains are not under suspicion in the West because it is the Islamist militants who are blamed for the terrorism. It would be unfair for the Western Police Forces to arrest people of these faiths. However the Tamils are opened to suspicion and if they are found where they should not be they are putting themselves at risk.
I hope the arrests and the 'abuctions' continue so that the general public will be safe. We should worry about human rights when the country is free from terrorists.

I visited the Vanni in 2001 met members of the LTTE and interviewed them. There are no numbers where it comes to the LTTE because on a given day anyone could be asked to fight for them. There are no civilians - only sleepers so we can be sure that anyone loitering in the GofSL controlled areas must be abducted or arrested and sent back.
Even the poor children in the Vanni are trained in military exercises before and after school. Evidently when people have not been behind this curtain they will find it harder to understand how the LTTE keep popping up more cadres and cynical views are that the Forces are misleading the public
when the give the LTTE death rates. However it is like the Iraqui insurgents. Each day their numbers grow. The Americans found that in Vietnam and now in Afghanistan and the Soviet Union too. When idiots add and subract numbers they are only displaying their ignorance of a situation. The Western forces keep sending more and more men to the war front against terrorism and five years later what have they achieved? Nothing.
Sri Lanka will get rid of Prabakaran now that we have a determined President. Chandrika was surrounded by Tamil loving advisors including Paikyasothy Saravanamuttu a fraud with a fraudulant accent he has not lost although he has spent over two decades away from the London School of Economics!!
