Exactly my point..not to forget Sinhalese did not originate from Tamil..but from sanscrit or pali..isnt it..???:):))
I have not really read a good history book about sri lanka. you may be right. I just studied that in my school days only. it was not a research oriented study and just to pass the exam.

Veddhas were Tamils... It is impossible that Tamils did not venture into the island via the land mass that connected to India -- the same way elephants came to the island via the land mass, from India.
As long as Tamil Nadu remains there, Sinhalese will not be able keep to suppressing Tamils. |

Government should arrest and inquire each and every Tamils specially from north and East. also government should have the records of all Tamils who a residing out of north and east and also should be alert on Tamils who coming in from abroad or north east to other areas in this regard public can assist government to provide all information about people nearby to them. this should stop or minimize the activities of rebels..
