Can you answer following Q pls..
If Tamils came to SL before Sinhalaese, or if the first settlers of Vijaya were 'Tamils', How come Sri Lanka became majority Sinhalese...????not Tamil...?????? |

a. Viajaya was an Indian who founded a new Kingdom in Lanka
b. The people of that kingdom developed their own unique culture and came to be known as Sinhala.
so the fighting seem to be between two indian origins.

Wat a crap judiciary ! without any specific charges they are being detained. No wonder IIGEP Came out of SOrry lanka & never want to be associated with such a racist regime.
Now the ACF is preparing grounds for the guys to be given justice in International courts.
The judiciary in Sri Lanka on Monday has allowed the police to detain three suspects including journalist JS Tissainayagam, until 05 September.
The Colombo magistrate rejected an appeal by his counsellors to release him on bail.
His counsellors argued that the police have no authority to detain anybody more than 90 days under emergency regulations
However the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) told the court that the police have powers to detain anybody even for a year under ER.
