What are these 'civilians' even doing in this war zone??? The LTTE are a known target, even a blind eelamist knows that! The troops are marching forward and the LTTE are a terrorist group, and hence they should not have any installation built on Gov. roads! If they do, then it's a LTTE installation, and a target. Anyone and everyone knows that you stay away from terrorist installations, especailly in the middle of a war, where the Gov. is marching forward towards you!

It's soo funny how all these LTTE lovers claim they love tamils, but they have no issue about the LTTE using human shields and about the LTTE not allowing civilians to escape the war zone! So much for the love of tamil life!

From my own experience - we do have other parts of life that we are tired of putting on hold because to the war.

Gaja,

That's true, but let's face the facts... You can go about your daily work, but maybe it's a smart idea to stay away from terrorist buildings, especially when your in the range of artilery and when there's air sorties occuring on a daily basis!

These checkpoints have been put up illegally, so even making civilians use these checkpoints are unethical! This is yet another burden that the tamil civilians in Waani have to put up with, and it's again the fault of the LTTE!

Gaja and Fat Lady,

It is obvious that innocent civilian getting perished between the LTTE and GOSL. Thats their fate to select a LTTE like terrorist organization to rule them. If tamils of world like or not tamils under wanni is controlled by LTTE. Whole tamil world think that LTTE is controlling by all Tamils in Sl.

Its not true. Now LTTE has restricted into two districts ( Kilinochchci and Mulathivu ) These are two administrative doistricts but most parts of such areas are jungles. these two are only two electorates out of 168 have in sri lanka ( 2/168 ) The tamil population there is only near 200,000. Can you understand how the LTTE has trapped into the area.

All other tamils in SL in army controlled areas and they are living peacefully than under LTTE. Then where will you going in outside of Sri Lanka ?

Where are your expecting EELAAm and the ruloing party LTTE ??

Think out of the box !

There is nothing called 'gateway to Vanni'. This was created by so clalled CFA to demarcate so called teritories. 'gateway to Vanni' should be shelled but in any case need to minimise wounding to civilians.

Soory Nisha,

You are wrong. There is a gateway to Vanni. Only thing is that it is not fixed, it is moving everyday.

As far as this news item is concerned, the source of news is so called, Tamieelam Police. I know about Kotahena Police, Matara Police, Weligama Police, Kandy Police etc. The police exist as well as the location of name sake.

Where is Tamieelam? The condition for Tamileelam police to exist.

The news is sourced from a hypothetical source.

Tamil elaam police is now in the bin. Only they have brave VP and Pottu as their supreme leaders. This reality has identified by every citizen in SL even tamils in Wanni. But it not penetrated into the tamils in west countries.

They have brain washed by LTTE collectors in such countries and they make their own dream TAMIL ELAAM and building cities and palaces in their dream land.

AussieBoy,

What is your merit based criteria to assess whether a building is a terrorist building?

These checkpoints have been put up illegally

And do you say that in majority cases involving Tamils administration and decision making is strictly as per the law? Wake up and use your common sense man.
