He is a power thirst man like Ranil Wickramasinghe, he will never give up his post if elected
If RW has been a power hungry man,
he would have not held free and fair elections in 1993:
he would have filed a impeachment against CBK in 2002 (when he had the majority and the speaker on his side) thus preventing her from dissolving the parliament in 2004
he would have given 101 false promses and gained power like CBK promised give bread at R3.50
He would have not reformed the public sector and cut the excess numbers which was a vote bank for any presidential candiadate
he would not have exposed the hidden treasures of Anurudda Ratwatte
he would take his over 4m supporters to street and disrupt the functioning of the government
he would not have participated in APC to dicuss a solution to the national problem
He would call for general striks every other day
etc etc etc.
The absence of the above shows he is not power hungry. he is clean, honoest and straight. He is the only one who could turn the country around after 16 years of SLFP mismanagement and misrule. |
