Yes, SB is not such a bad choice... he has a good political vision....etc.... but
as I think, SB should get very effective executive positions in UNP... but not the leadership....
cross-over politicians are always having a black mark in their names within the low-level party members (who are voters)... exactly as I said about Rukman......UNP has to think twice before they bring SB as a leader...

Good point...

thanx mate...
that's why I don't even support bring Karu as UNP leader (in case he crossed over again into UNP)... I always beleived (before he crossed over to Gov) that Karu should be the next UNP leader.... but, no more...

cross-over politics is a shameful act... shouldn't be allowed...
the poor public didn't want for their name, but for the party, since he belongs to that party, he got that vote and got into the parliament.....so, crossing over to another party is like stabbing on the back of public.... a total traitor in front of the public... let it to be from/to government or opposition....

he is very popular... than Rukman or Tissa Attanayaka....
suppose, UNP hold a wide-range election (like USA)within UNP to select one out of Sajit-SB.... I'm sure that Sajit will get the most votes from the public..... he his most wanted than SB....

Suppose there is Coup de etat to oost Ranil from the leadership, the next most suitable guy in my view would be Rukman Senanayaka
