Don't be surprised. The lines of engagement are so murky and the people involved are so shady you can only expect it to get worse. These things like Ellalan Force or what ever really does not matter to what is going on. It may be a GOSL creation or an LTTE creation or someone else's idea.
Prepare for more incredible things to happen in the future.

Did you predict the following or have a mole inside LTTE to correctly predict the 'incredible things' that has happened.
the Sea Tigers, launched a surprise attack on the key operations command of the Sri Lanka Navy at Erukkalampiddi in Mannaar in the early hours of Wednesday, brought the installation under their control and have seized the arms and military equipments, including the radar, LTTE officials said. The Special Marine Commandos of the Sea Tigers have seized several weapons including 50 caliber machine guns, 81 mm mortars, Light Machine Guns, Rocket Launchers and the Radar equipment at the SLN commanding station,

Do not take things out of context. If you are not clear, this is what I meant: There will be more interesting groups and alliances coming into the limelight..some of us will be sick to the guts.
If you read my post again, I am sure you will see I meant nothing cruel in it.

Thanks Gons. What can I say? when you are my devotee? I took it as a general statement meant for all. Thanks for reminding me of our faith/trust base. That is the basis that connects us and with that as the basis we will not hurt each other.
