Tigeress19,

Alfred Duraiappah was assassination by the LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran in July 1975. It is considered a seminal event marking the onset the Sri Lankan civil war. Duraiappah was killed on his way to a Hindu temple for prayers, although he himself was a Christian.

Engrave it into your memory, to never to forget and THINK.

I'm serious...

Be practical. Dont bring your eelam rehotric here.
eelam is not illegal, eelam is legitimate.

Geneva was a chance to put a hold to this war. all LTTE was interested was in A9 collection.

Geneva1 promise was never implemented. (according to it, karuna gang should have been dis armed) Geneva 2 failed, Oslo failed.

btw do you think LTTE paricipate in peace talks expecting someone to offer eelam in a plate?

absolutely correct. the ltte come to the table for peaceful partition.

Tigress if you say LTTE has no responsibilty atall in restarting war you are betraying tamils nothing else.

the war is thrush-ed upon the Tamils. because you cant offer anything we would accept. how would you want the Tamils to react, when the B-C D-C was torn apart?? the Tamils picked up arms when the Sinhalese refuse to give anything.

your govt also ended up fighting because the ltte will not accept anything less than eelam. Now all most all tamils want eelam . only way out for this vicious cycle of violents is by peaceful partition.

there is nothing wrong with the gosl offering eelam in the name of peace and prosperity for the whole islanders.!

in my opinion, after so long study, the sinhalese are fighting with the tamils over myths and illusions..

Ooops,.... Almighty LTTE couldn't do anything to Karuna, and they requested GOSL to disarm,......

I remember Late Bala begging the GOSL,... but also he said Karuna is an internal problem, so that they will solve it in three months......

your govt gave him protection when he was firing at the ltte in contrary to the CFA.

I remember Late Bala begging the GOSL,... but also he said Karuna is an internal problem, so that they will solve it in three months......

it was before your govt gave him some spaces within your forces premises.

it was before your govt gave him some spaces within your forces premises.

That was for his protection as proscribed by Geneva 1. His life was in danger.

the govt is responsible for this war...

Of course. Previous govts did not crush LTTE. There wouldnt be any war if they had taken care of LTTE that time. :)

i do not have much time,,you agree or disagree , please no blabbering..

Eelam is a joke. You guys used this for every minor things and it has become joke for all now.

it is upto us to decide whether eelam is a joke or no joke.

Disarming Karuna gang!heehee. Do you think Karuna gang is the biggest threat to tamils than anything else? Then why cant LTTE face Karuna gang instead of facing SLA? LTTE is the group claim themselves can be everywhere. Just shamelss to ask SLA to disarm Karuna.

karuna was firing from the army camps, the ltte had no choice, it was compelled to fire at the army camps! Geneva1 failure legitimized the ltte gun fire towards the army camps..

What does it mean?? LTTE can achive eelam through war but it gives an opportunity to GOLS to iffer eelam in a peacefull way? He he..

the use of arms and ammos to bring the adversary to the table. the point of no return has been archived, it is time the gosl consider the benefit of the war vis-a-vis time money material and the innocents + combatants life.
