yesterday, they have arrested some who could not speak a Sinhala word in the middle of Sinhala South.
Then they should start arresting anyone who dose not speak Tamil in the N&E. |

Did you participate in the protested againsts MR in London.
No. Because, Thanthi Selva did the same thing in 50's in Galle face, colombo. Sathyakiraka. Just before his death in 70's, he told not to believe in peaceful protest. I never participated in any protest in SL or overseas.
PS: I was forced to participate in protest during ragging period in JVP period.

April 25, 2006 was a critical day for our nation. It was the day the epitome of evil (and cowardice), Velupillai Prabakaran sent a pregnant (subsequent investigations suggest otherwise) suicide bomber to assassinate Lt. Gen. Sarath Fonseka. It was one man who stood between the two, the great hero Corporal Yakandawala who from his motorbike, kicked the suicide bomber in the nick of time to save Gen. Fonseka.
He lost his life in the subsequent blast, but his simple action reached far and wide. It paved way to the liberation of the entire eastern province and today our valiant soldiers have carved their way into the jungles of Mooladuwa (Mulaitivu) starting off with the capture of Munnagam Base. The cowardly LTTE have been left with no other option but to run at the face of our valiant soldiers, bomb innocent civilians, concoct bogus human rights abuses and beg on all fours to foreign governments to intervene.
Corporal Yakandawala's sacrifice brings back the memory of the Hasalaka Hero, Corporal Gamini Kularatne, who on July 14, 1991 selflessly dispatched an LTTE bulldozer and saved the lives of 600 soldiers of the Alimankada (Elephant Pass) Camp.
Let this valiant hero be alive in our hearts for generations to come! |
