The chief priest of a Buddhist Vihare in Baddegama police division in Galle district was arrested Thursday afternoon with a haul of explosives weighing about 60 kg on receipt of information conveyed by some members of the public. Police team recovered 43 kilos of dynamite, 223 kilos of ammonium nitrate, 22 kilos of black gun powder and 233 detonators and cash of about Rs:29,000 from the Vihare, police sources said.
Has any racist Sri Lankan media published this damning news?NO
Has any Sinhala Buddhist extremist condemn or at least made any comment on tis bomb making Buddhist monk? No
The Sinhala Buddhist monks make bombs and plant them in public places to demean LTTE.
We must commend the duty bound police who raided the Buddhist vihare and exposed the terrorist monk. |

Yes, Tamils will never forget the dispicable act. But, it is as sad to see that the culprits never put a word on this anniversary. |

Also there is almost no apologies for that despicable act.
Have you been to the newly constructed library (built in 2003) ?
Lot of people say it is smaller than the original one. Also the books inside have almost no historical value. |

Detonators are out of fashion. LTTE use High tech ships, or wireless transmitters. It is Similar to mobile phone. LTTE already set thousand of bombs everywhere now they send only call to the bomb. That is the modern tech.. Other wise how it is possible they can carry an attack on the following day of State terrorist attacked innocent Tamil civilians.
to blast an explosive a detonator is a must, it may be in tiny sizes, mobile phones are been used as wireless transmitters, sometimes they use old out dated walkie takies as wieless transmitters, through these transmitters power passes to the detonator and it blast first. |
