As I clearly stated, you said WORLD RENOWNED which you have still not proven. The UN peace keepers case was never proven, in fact the CO of that deployment later praised the Lankan contingent as a professional unit which he believed to be innocent. Once an accusation has been made, it is probably normal procedure to pull out the accused and replace them. As you may or may not know, there are SL peace keepers deployed right now.
as for your other little day dreams, I repeat, PROVE IT! these are all isolated incidents which are at most accusations and have never been proven. How on Earth does that make it world renowned?
Once again I would like to recall you to the phrase 'world renowned' EG tamils are world renowned for terrorism (LTTE terrorists), Fraud (credit card fraud, money laundering etc etc), Gang violence (EG Ross kemp on gangs youtube video first shown on sky one) etc etc etc etc. World renowned as in, you say the word tamil and people say 'oh yeah, the tamil terrorists' or 'oh yeah, the crooks'. That my friend is world renowned. |

Nobody ever denied there are good and reasonable people in the Sri Lanka police, army, government or judiciary. There are many many good and friendly people among Sinhalese.
You need only a tiny minority to cause trouble and mayhem.
There IS institutional racism in Sri Lanka and also in many other countries.
The judges who were looking for excuses for not trying the Kodeswaran Case Supreme Court against the enforcement of Sinhala Only Act (where he was denied salary increment for not passing the Sinhala Proficiency Test) were raciialy motivated.
I take this case seriously because 1. first, the district Court verdict was that the Act was illegal and 2. if those Sinhala judges
tried the case and passed the verdict (illegal) the Sinhala Obly Act would have been repealed then and we would be living in peace today. |

it was in 1962, that Chelliah Kodeswaran was denied his annual salary increments as a government clerical servant. He sued the government. Judgment was in Kodeswaran s favor. The one protection tamizar had in the constitution helped Kodeswaran win the case. This provision in the Ceylon constitution was removed from the Sri Lanka constitution of 1972.
Instead of repealing the S-Only Act racist govt of Mrs S B removed the Clause 29 that precluded the parliament from passing legislations that discriminated religious and ethnic communities. |

Look at most of pro LTTE guys on this forum-xcept for couple like you 98% try (24/7) to paint exactly the opposite pic.

I think you are trying to make a plain black & white pic out of this.
1.I doubt whether a district court can rule whether a pariament enactment is 'illegal' -(or rather- unconstitutional)
Acts are passed after constitutionalty is tested . once done its un-done/amended by parliament.
(I'm no lawyer -only a TC)
2. There are Tamil Language special provisions Act etc., which are in effect amendments to the so called 'Sinhala Only Act'- |
