Remember you said 'world renowned', so you would have to prove to me that all of your adjectives are 100% true and that the sinhala people are known for it, ie if you say sinhala, that is what people think. If you can prove that, I would say you are absolutely correct. |

The government website confirms that a Sinhala Buddhist monk shot dead the PM Bandaranayake.

This is where Prime Minister Solomon Dias Bandaranaike was shot dead by a radical Buddhist monk in September 1959 in the veranda. Nearly a year later, his bereaved widow, Sirimavo, was elected Prime Minister and 34 years after that Chandrika became the country's president while younger brother Anura was already a parliamentarian. |

Tamils do not like birth of baby girls.This could be the reason for this domestic violence.That is the main reason ltte is using girls as suicide cardres.They dont care sacrifice of women in the war as they are burden to their families.

the difference between my statement and your comment is that my statement was a valid one which I can easily prove with facts while your comment is a weak comeback which you put together because there was nothing for you to say.
LoL. The real difference is you're trying to pick some rare and random occurance and trying to pass it off as the norm in the Tamil community. While what I'm saying is really not so rare or random in the Sinhalese community.
Lets see the UN peace keeping force sent back over a 100 SL soldiers for child molestation just last year. This news was carried by all international news networks. The UN expected the Sri Lankans to take stern action against them, but since child molestation is the norm (as seen on the beaches of the south) for the Sinhalese, they took no action.
As for mass murder, do you really need me to quote?? Just look at the occurances from the 50's to today. How many instances of mass murder carried out with government support, this was even before the LTTE was formed! Mass murder is the number one hobby of the yak clan.
As for rape.. this needs no explanation as everyone and their grandma knows how many rape cases the army are tied up in!
Not to mention the yak 'monks' are reqularly in the media for rape of children. Heck, you sickos didn't even spare victims of the tsunami!

A five-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl died in hospital after being found injured at their home in Carshalton, south-east London. A six-month-old girl was found in the same house with stab injuries and is seriously ill in hospital. |

Police team recovered 43 kilos of dynamite, 223 kilos of ammonium nitrate, 22 kilos of black gun powder and 233 detonators and cash of about Rs:29,000 from the Vihare, police sources said. There must have been many bombs made in the Buddhist vihare. What happened to those bombs? Where were they planted? Who were killed?
The answers to these questions will throw light on many bomb explosions that took place in buses, Dehiwela train and other places where many civilians were killed.
