one the world`s last remaining uncontacted indigenous tribes

Saturday, 31 May 2008 - 9:43 PM SL Time

Deep in Brazil`s jungles, one the world`s last remaining uncontacted indigenous tribes has been spotted and photographed for the first time from the air.

The pictures show tribesmen, painted red head to toe, aiming longbows at the aircraft circling above.

The tribe was found in the far western Amazon jungle, near the Peruvian border, Brazil`s department for Indian affairs said Thursday.

The region they were found in was an Ethno-Environmental Protected Area, said the government foundation known as Funai.

i agree these indigenous tribes should be protected.

we made two mistakes in the past.

1)allowing sankamiththai the Buddhist missionary to land in lanka.

2)agreed to live together in 1948 with constitutional guarantees.

Tigress:

We people of RAVANA allowed both Tamils and Sangamiththa to come here into Sri Lanka.

One group worked better for us and made us improve and get better.

The other group is not working even for them. They destroy themselves while killing us.
