Lankians dont learn anything from past experience they go regardless of consequences, just like the war. Nothing to be surprised about its the foolish behavior of the gvt financial ruin, economic disasters civil war - no one is bothered as long as their pockets are filled and the 84% are oblivious to anything that is happening around them!!

Eventually this MIHIN Air virus will destroy Sri Lankan Air too.
Sri Lanka is not strong enough to expand government air line ventures this way. Its a very competitive business and Sri Lankan air is more than enough to cover the face of the country. |

Chennaiguy,
Tigers will never achieve anything but defeat. Do not just tell things that makes monkeys even laugh from their back. LTTE is down the pallam. LTTE wanted to bring the weapons to the country, no way. Yes, keep saying sinhalayas modaya, but how smart someone to be join LTTE and suicide for nothing. :)

Sri Lanka's annual inflationrate rose to 19.8 percent in May, the highest level in overfive years, due to rising prices of food and vegetables, putting pressure on the central bank to raise rates. The 12-month moving average increased from 18.7 percent in
April as supply shortages boosted food prices, the government's
Census and Statistics Department said on Friday.
Consumer prices in May jumped 26.2 percent from a year
earlier, outpacing 25 percent in April's data, it said.
The central bank had originally aimed to contain bring
inflation down to 10-11 percent by the end of 2008.
When they cant even tame Inflation which is controlled by GOSl, how can you expect them to tame tigers who are not at all controlled by GOSL.
THis government has nothing to show as performance. SO they feed punnakku abt tigers getting thrashed. |

Gavin,
moda local sinhala mihin air problem is discussed by moda expat sinhalese....
They will never board Mihin air.
As long as Srilankan airlines is not bankrupt, Mihin air will be there.
This has become a Prestige issue for Modapakse. |
