Mihin Lanka, which has been dogged with financial problems since it began commercial operations last year, has suspended services after running up debts to nearly 15 million dollars.
The restructuring plan includes the government picking up the 647,000 dollar tab to lease the aircraft for two months, plus another 100,000 dollars to resume operations.
How come they will be self -sustaining in two months

If GOSL gives up, and give power to VP, he will stop the war.
He will restore law and order. Killings and corruption will stop. The Sinhalese and Tamils would live with dignity. Unitary state will be intact!

Gandaruban, who had been hiding in Sri Lanka since faking his death in 1987, was caught last October at Changi Airport when he tried to enter Singapore using a fake passport.
Wonder the new passport was under a name like Kokila Gunawardane?

Its funny how the LNP threads when they are disadvantageuos to LTTE gets renewed by new threads quite frequetly than threads that are biased towards LTTE.
The threads that are biased towards the LTTE stay on significantly longer.

Once Tamil Eelam Airlne is launched, all Sri Lanka airlines, if any be left, will go bankrupt. Indians will fly TE Air and all visitors to the island will not have any other domestic airline than TE Air!
