Sinhala politicians have no history of managing anything right.... They are loosers... lost three wars against Dutch, Portugese, and British,... another war is about to be lost too..

It is about time that they invite a Tamil to govern the country!

Sorry for the old news..

Who killed Tamil parliamentarian?
9 March, 2008 - 17:24 News
Image_Frontpage:

The LTTE accused the Sri Lanka Army Deep Penetration Unit (DPU) for the murder of its front Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarian K Sivanesan. According to the LTTE news agency Tamilnet: the attack had taken place between Pu'liyangku'lam and Maangku'lam .The MP's vehicle was targeted when he was returning to his residence in Mallaavi, after attending the parliamentary sessions in Colombo. His driver was also killed in the attack. The DPU attackers have exploded four Claymore mines in a row, Tamileelam Police officials told TamilNet.

The Sri Lanka government has denied its forces carried out the attack. However, the LTTE media gave graphic details of the killing in its broadcasting and print media in the Tamil Diaspora. It is not clear how the DPU was able to enter the spot between Pu'liyangku'lam and Maangku'lam when LTTE runs a tight knit management of the area is a mind boggling question. If the LTTE claim is accurate even Pirabakaran too is very vulnerable to the DPU, as his hidings are not far away from the areas mentioned.

Since the death of LTTE s political spokesperson S P Thamilchelvan in November last year, there were two other of killings of LTTE senior leaders. Deaths of LTTE s Charles and Siva followed Thamilchelvan s death. On these three murders the LTTE did not divulge detailed information like K Sivanesan s death and simply accused the Sri Lankan forces for the killings. The Government of Sri Lanka too claimed responsibility for the previous three killings. To this date, both parties have not revealed graphic details with pictorial evidence for the killings of the trio.

The internecine leadership acrimony between Manivannan alias Castro and Pottu Amman also cannot be discounted. The deaths of Thamilchelvan, Charles and Siva whom were opposed to Castro are a factor that is reshaping the politics of the LTTE. Which side K Sivanesan belonged to could have been the deciding for his destiny in the LTTE controlled Vanni.

Contrary to the other three deaths, on the latest killing of K Sivanesan, the LTTE had gone to the extra ordinary length to provide pictorial evidence to justify its claim.

The death of K Sivanesan in the LTTE controlled Vanni area is said to have sent chilling waves within the TNA parliamentarians. It is now said many TNA parliamentarians are scared to visit the LTTE controlled Vanni area, fearing that they will fall victims to either the LTTE or the Sri Lankan forces. Despite the war conditions, the MP s are asked to visit Vanni for consultations. When a kin of a parliamentarian was approached recently for some help to deal with the LTTE through his relative parliamentarian, he said, he is in Vanni now. We are holding our breath and praying to the God that he should return safely to Colombo. When our dear ones life is in the hands of the LTTE, how can we seek help on your request?

If GOSL gives up, and give power to VP, he will stop the war.

He will restore law and order. Killings and corruption will stop. The Sinhalese and Tamils would live with dignity. Unitary state will be intact!
