Is this guy, Vas a brother-in-law of Rajayakses, if not a step brother ???

Surely Rajayaksha brothers must have beaten Marcos and Samosa by now in corrupted earnings.

This staggering loss of Rs. 3 billion is more than enough for thieves to resign in any other country.

God bless Sri Lankan !

Chennaiguy,

Do not believe in http://www.tamilnet.com
Half of it is junk. Everytime there is a suicide bomb blast, I have not seen it said that it is done by LTTE.
This website pretends that there is another terror group exists other than LTTE, which that is the group carried out suicide attacks around the country. Nobody believe in tamilnet.

SriLankan Airlines lands Operational Excellence award from Airbus
AIRBUS Industrie has announced that SriLankan Airlines will receive the global award for Operational Excellence that is presented to small airlines operating the Airbus A340.
This is the second award for SriLankan Airlines from Airbus Industrie. The European aircraft manufacturer in 2004 presented Sri Lanka's national carrier with the global Operational Excellence Award for the twin-engined A330.
SriLankan was the first carrier in Asia to operate the wide-bodied long-haul A340-300, the first of which was acquired in August 1994. It now has five A340 in its all-Airbus fleet.
The award is for a two-year period from November 2005 to October 2007. It is based on wide-ranging selection criteria, which include number of hours flown, number of take-offs, operational interruptions due to maintenance issues, and flight delays.
SriLankan's Engineering wing last year received EASA 145 accreditation from the European Aviation Safety Agency. Systems and processes of its Flight Operations Department are already certified for the ISO 9000:2001 standard.
The award will be presented at Airbus Industrie's Long Range Technical Symposium, which will take place in Dubai next May. The awards are presented every two years.

They will never learn it.
The risk is high that Sri Lankan might also face a grounding if working too close (having to subsidise)
with Mihin.
