| An airline cannot be run with political agenda. This airline hired 1 or 2 aircrafts and tried run as an airline. This is a joke and this white elephant ruined millions of rupees of poor sri lankans. Sri Lanka must have a legal system to bring these politicians to the court for misusing govt funds. |

These well reputed 100 gosl Mihin experts will now suck off their salaries and bonuses from Sri Lankan airlines at around $ 4 - 5 million like they did in 2007 when they could not even get online booking up and running.
SL would be better off investing that money into improving the junky railways system to reduce petrol consumption and costs for food transports which will be sky rocketing next year when oil prices will climb from $135 barrel to $200 as widely expected.
Tourism is dead already now and that Sri Lankans will be more keen on holiday trips is also more than doubtful. |
