Two Sri Lankan Civil Defence Force (CDF) carders were injured when a group of around twenty men opened fire at them at Ethimale, in Monaragala District Friday around 1.00 p.m., Police said.
The gunmen were clad in black.
Unidentified attackers Friday evening opened fire at villagers at Rajanganaya Zone 18, a settlement bordering Vilpattu national park in the North Central Province, killing a couple and a Civil Defence Force cadre.
Why these information dont appear in SL News ?

Immigration authorities at the Anna international terminal early on Friday arrested a 21-year-old Sri Lankan national when he attempted to board a Paris-bound flight using a fake visa.
The authorities said Jeyakumar Pranavan was holding a genuine Sri Lankan passport. He came from Colombo and was on his way to London via Paris. He came to complete the immigration formalities and the U.K. visa he had was fake. He was arrested and handed over to local police for further investigation. Special Correspondent

Government officials in LTTE-held Kilinochchi say Internally Displaced People (IDP) are starving following restrictions on food transport in the area. Kilinochchi Government Agent (GA) Rasalingam Vedanayagam says 'the area is suffering from a severe food shortage after transport of goods and food into the area has been cut by 80 percent.'
i thought its a self sufficient kingdom of PEELAM.. why there s a food shortage? hak hakss.. this cant be true... its a damn shame to ask the help of racist sinhala gov to help for food .. hikzz |

Civil Defence Force personnel on duty at Yaya 18 (zone 18) village on the borders of Wilpattuwa jungle confronted with a group of terrorists last night (May 30).
According to the defence sources in the area, the terrorists had forcibly entered into a civilian house around 7.45 pm and started butchering the innocent residents. Alerted by the wailing residents the Civil Defence Force personnel had rushed to the location and confronted with the terrorists who attempted to continue their cowardly attack at the civilians, said the sources. After a brief confrontation the terrorists had fled to the Wilpattuwa jungle, the sources added.

It is damn shame on the part of racist sinhala govt to even beg india to send rice.
Why is there rice shortage in Sorry Lanka ? I thought Colombo is self sufficient in Food, Oil & Money & Electricity.

monday tigers killed 3 sl forces in monaragala area.. no news about that till now..today daily mirror reporting about an accident happen today ..No involment of tigers??
