CaptainAhab,
It will never be that bad though...
Exactly...
If that happens (people defecating in open along the roadside as in Tamilnadu), it is the time we shall give Sri Lanka to Tamils in a platter... |

it is the responsibility of the government to either facilitate it or stay out of the area and leave it to the Tamils to sort it out with the LTTE. The government has done neither
Actually, the government left it to the easterners to sort it out and they sorted out Pilliyan and the UPFA, sieving out the LTTE and pro-LTTE factions.
Even the TNA and the LTTE could not make them easterners vote for Ranil after asking them to do so on the eve of the election. and they asked the easterers to consider the election as a referendum for de-merger of the provinces.

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) is to decide on a tariff revision in consultation with the Finance Ministry, Power and Energy Minister John Seneviratne said.
With the fuel price hike the CEB is considering revising electricity tariffs in the event it fails to obtain a fuel subsidy, Seneviratne said.
A blessing for the doomed economy. and who is going to foot the bill the people who are already suffering.
It going to be early nights and in 9 months time a baby boom.
What a blessing. Always look at the bright side of things. |
