Now gamiya does't know the difference between civilians and armed personnel. Those DPU was used by CBK to rig polls. It was not a legal unit of army. But an army of 'thugs' reporting to CBK and Anurudda. They were used to intimidate SB Dissanyaka in Walapane. What were they doing in Walapane with long range rocket proplers, if not rigging votes. They were even tyring to intimidate the elected PM, Ranil. All Ranil did was to unbare the illegal unit and bring in some control.

Fortunately, Justice systems works well in india which heal things unlike in sorry lanka.

You keep ignoring the expressions of Tamils outside direct LTTE membership
Aren't we made to do that? There is pressure everywhere to treat LTTE as the sole representer of Sri Lankan Tamils.
If you are not able to read in total and then translate in the language of the apparent leaders - you would not find a solution to this complex problem. No one 'makes' you do it. YOu choose to do so because you either do not know of a higher path or you do not want to do the higher work.
If you do not recognize LTTE as GOSL's political opponent but only as terrorists - then you would give preference to expressions from Tamils outside the LTTE circle.
Isn't that good? What is the moral behind recognizing an armed group as political opponents over other Tamils. It is the responsibility of the Tamils outside the LTTE circle to form a meaningful, not deceptive, political force.
On the contrary it is the responsibility of the government to either facilitate it or stay out of the area and leave it to the Tamils to sort it out with the LTTE. The government has done neither. You are raising the bar for Tamils to a higher level than the government itself. If we do end up achieving it - we would effectively govern the country. That is Dharma. It is not dharma to require / expect us to do the work for which YOU/GOSL get the credit.
YOu guys are not able to stay away from the Tigers because you like the excitement - President included
I'm not sure who you referred to as YOU here. Yet this is the weakness of 'other' Tamils again, who are not able to become as exciting as LTTE. I would also like to add my previous comment that Prabakaran may be the god given gift to all of our politicians.
The 'you' are the supporters of GOSL. As for your comments on VP - I feel strongly that VP helped open the path to real democracy for all Sri Lankans and those of us who seek will find. I am not talking about the pretend democracy of the west.

The agonising wait for Rajasthan Royals last-ball win over Mumbai Indians that booked it a place in the IPL semifinals turned out to be quite enjoyable for the Delhi Daredevils, who found a perfect getaway from the tension at teammate Tillakaratne Dilshan s wedding here last night.
The 31-year-old Dilshan got married at a city hotel last night and the Daredevils came out in full force to wish the Sri Lankan all-rounder and his bride.
The marriage was conducted under Hindu rituals and turned out to be a refreshing experience for the team s other foreign recruits.

Sorry such rhetorics are for the Singlecelled morons down south.
VP will not get himself into such a position. When VP talks ( which is not often) everyone listens. Hell many Singlecellese wait impatiently to hear what he wants to say .
When MR talks ( which is most of the time) almost everyone has a good laugh.Sometimes even the Singlecellese join in the fun.
