But, I always have a good confidence, with the time things will settle.
One of the biggest problems in our country to settle matters is ugly UNP-SLFP rivalry. We have to over-come that too. |

I agree. That rivalry took racial lines long ago, thus bringing disasters to the cuntry. But, somehow they have been successful to fool the Sinhala masses and play a distructive game.

Then its possible to think about one country with few regional power bases.

Yes, that is a good possibility. Such devolution is needed. To be honest, I hope this Pilliyan guy and people supporting him will set an example... but, they could disappoint everyone too, at the end. We have to wait and see.
