Good god, did you call this dude a Brigadier? Where do these terrorists get all these titles? I am sure chief thug Prabakaran pulls them out of his rear end after eating Pinto Beans. By typical NATO standard a brigade consists of approximately 4,000 to 5,000 troops. This dead Terrorist dude did not command a number of terrorists remotely close to that.
If this dude is a Brigadier I am a Field Marshal!

so what do we have in SL right now?
Govern ourselves as much as we can always making sure we do not make a profit or incur loss. When either of this happens we do not govern.
government is not for people??? and was not elelcted by
people???? so who elcted them
If people elected on the basis of belief - i.e. without calculating benefits - then that is genuine force and has the power to successfully govern. Where a government is not successful - then it means that the people did not elect them on belief basis. Hence - it is not a government of the people. It is merely occupying the position and sometimes bringing it down to business basis.

LOL this guy with a 1000 men Broke the SLN cordon and landed on the main supply route between JAffa-EP and held it for days even when faced with 30000 SLA!
it is because of that EP fell
IF a guy is able to beat back 30000 Men and help take an 'impregnable' bastion caled EP and also kick the butts of 2 and 3 start generals then surely he deserves this title

lol my dear fellow you seem to forget that officers given command of special units have higher-ranks than normal forces
how can you explain Colonels commanding special forces units in SLA?
they don't command a 'regiment' mate :)) read up on some military matters will ya? :) |

a country like you are talking about exists nowhere in the world.
no country is perfect everyone has their own problems, can you tell me any country which satisfy all peoples need ??
No country or group of people can reach break even regarding peoples needs always there is a loss for someone. it is the reality, still some can minimize it.
what you think is fair may not be fair for another... thats the summery.
whosoever being selected they are also people human.they are acting to their own belives people. like all tamils are raised with the belif that 'sinhala must be kiiled'
if you really think vp can win a poll then let him come on legally to table of contest then people will decide wht to do.
as i know most of tamils are also tired with LTTE brutal acts. in fact i had good friends from jaffna, hill country and colombo too. dont know whether they talked in real sense. but they were tired too with LTTE. |
