Useless Hartal for a baseless politician Mr.Hisbulla, we kindly request this power hungry politician to ccarry out our day to day life peacefully with our Tamil neighbours. As ordinary people we need peaceful life.

Mr.Hisbulla Mr.MR has given shock treatment for your baseless, power hungry and dirty politics. Please relax yourself and make up your mind,think twice before you arrange hartals, don't misguide your money hungry followers. You are not an ideal person to lead our people in the East. From your past we have learned a lot of lessons about your politics, so we don't have trust on your leadership. Be quite and let Mr. Pillayan to function the CM post.

Race or ethnicity shouldn't enter political solutions. In Sri Lanka everything that the govt does is racially biased and intended to oppress the minorities. The govt hires dishonest coolies from the minorities with bribes and perks and use them to propagate their racist policies.

Provincial Council under 13th Amendment is planned to cheat the minorities as if there is some power devolution but the fact is that the govt dominated by the majority hold the sole power and monetary control of the Council.

Muslims like Hizbullah and UNP decided to contest the elections only to show that they also have a power base and not because this EPC will resolve any problem or develop any project. The govt apponts Pillaiyan for the wrong reason that he will fight against LTTE and not because he is better than Hizbullah in development skills or management experience.

A Muslim extremist organization this morning organized a hartal campaign in Kattankudi town against the Sri Lankan government

Every action has a reaction. The extremist president creates 'extremist organization' and individuals.

Those who are following this thread.

Mr Hizbullah has agreed to accept some portfolio and has pledged his support to Pillayan.

So it looks like there is no clash between Muslims and Tamils in the eastern Province after all!
