AsiaSat sells Broacasting Licenses and the narrow minded extremists feel jealousy.
Narrow and petty minded chauvinists are jealousy that Tamils are able to listen to their cultural programs and local news without getting distorted. In a civilised society civilians have the freedom and right to watch or listen to what they want. The chauvinists are hell bent on controlling or gagging media to propagate their political bias to continue Sinhalese hegemony over the minorities. Most of the time and money are wasted in denying Tamils their freedom of speech, movements and speech. Hongkong based AsiaSat sold license to anyone who want to broadcast and because of the nagging and continuous harassment of the chauvinists employed by the extremist Sri Lankan govt some officials had to give some excuses to escape bullying. |

News says bike belongs to a Pilleyan man, from Trinco.
Does it prove the suicide bomber is also came from Pilleyan group..?
Why drop the LTTE as the main suspect, when they can have all access to get a bike and some help from Pilleyan men, by showing as normal Tamils..?
From the other hand, can Pilleyan have such obedient suicide bombers still with him..?
Dont jump to conclusions.
Its a failed mission of LTTE, I still think so. |

According to UNP Pillaiyan group did not like the police stopping them from multiple voting. Pilliyan Group 'shot dead' two policemen who were on duty in a particular pooling booth. They are the same police which was brought to Colombo to control the UNP-SLMC demonstration.

According to police investigations, the bike came to the city in last week of April. If Pilleyan did that set-up, its amaizing..!

UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday accused the Pillayan group of shooting two policemen in the east, following the Eastern Provincial Council election. Speaking at a function organised in Kandy to felicitate the services of party members who helped in the Eastern Provincial Council election campaign Mr. Wickremesinghe said the policemen had been shot as they had not allowed the Pillayan group to engage in fraudulent acts during the election.
One theory is that the bomber was sent to Colombo to be used in case CM goes to Hisbullah? |

This is the only thing these racial Muslims can do. When they were attcked by Tamils and chasing from North by LTTE not a single politician came with a solution to resettle them. Now they want CM position. I think Hisbulla must learn a lesson from past rather than trying to organize harthal.

After appointing the new chief minister yesterday, Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa made a special request to political leaders not to ignite racial violence for petty political gains
