Second Chapter opens in the Sinhalese Oppression of the Minorities.
First Tamils peacefully protested and took arms only against govt heavy handedness and anti-Tamil riots.
Big brother started his discrimination against Muslims now by arming a paramilitary Tamil group. The new head of this terror group is appointed as the Chief Minister of the wasteful and buerocratic talk shop EPC against the agreement signed in favour of crowning Muslim provincial leader, Hisbullah.
Muslims in Kaaththaankudi on Saturday observed a protest shut down against the decision by the Sri Lanka's president Mahinda Rajapaksa in appointing the chief minister for the Eastern Province. Shops were shut down and mosques remained closed expressing support for M.L.A.M. Hizbullah, the Muslim candidate for the Chief Minister portfolio, despite requests to keep the mosques open for prayers. Meanwhile, at least 8 Muslim persons were attacked by Pillayan group paramilitary personnel, sources in Batticaloa said.
A Muslim person was attacked near the Batticaloa police station by armed paramilitary men.

How unfortunate Muslims of Sri Lanka are? They were chased away by Big, Fat Tamil, Schizophrenic Prabhakaran from North too.
This shows that North and East can not be merged. Tamil Eelam and Tamil home land concepts are racist and need to be subdued for the sake of at least the Muslims of the country. |

This is an argument against keeping Sri Lanka as one state because minorities and majority have been fighting for the last 50 years and almost destroyed.
Muslims have openly backed the idea of merged Northeast autonomy with Cantons within for themselves. |

This is not a minority vs majority struggle. The reason why we cannot say because LTTE kills tamil people too. They are minority, and minority vs minority have problems too. This is simple brain dead problem which can be identified as a disease that transfers among generations. If you take one LTTE cadre and asked why do you join, answer would be they are forced to join and the reason he believe fighting is because they are forced to. Just because people are scared of their lives and brain dead, they join for LTTE.

I traveled to N & E and Vanni and talked to many LTTE cadres men and women , black and brown Tigers.
The answers always been that army, navy and airforce would have killed them by one way or the other, so they preferred to fight and die.
Women Tigers say many girls were raped and killed, they would rather die fighting.
You just accept that ethnic problem was started in 1956 and there after people started killing mostly by security forces and others by mob feeling of racism. |

So you mean they feel much relief when LTTE forcefully abduct and protect tamil people's freedom even toture tamil people? I see. :) So you mean let the LTTE kill people and protect their freedom while we sit back and relax. Yes, all the answer have aimed to army,navy and no answers given by LTTE. When LTTE cuts tamil people's hand during the elections, no answers.

It is not a good argument to force words on others. I am responsible only for my words.
All the actors in the ethnic conflict use violence. The fact remains the violence was used by the army and thugs against Tamils in 1956. Until 1982 Tamils were on the run without standing up and fight, because they were weak.
Not only LTTE many other groups took up arms to halt the recurring communal rights. LTTE used violence against other groups and political leaders to dominate the scene. They have made many mistakes and blunders and undesirable abhorent acts such as expelling Muslims from Jaffna.
But every violent act that LTTE used the army used more against Tamils. LTTE is seen as the protector of Tamils not because of what LTTE did but because of what the state forces did to them. In other words LTTE is seen as lesser evil by Tamils. You must listen to Tamils to know what their grievances are rather than imagine them. |

When you say minorities who else were fighting other than Tamils ?

Is it Muslims in general or some Muslim politicians expressing their views long tome ago.
How ridiculous and impractical is, that Muslims wanted a North and East merger and at the same time a canton for them selves. Any way their ambitions had been blown off by Schizo Prabha expelling every Muslim out of North. If they were stupid before they had the lesson of their live time with a taste of Tamil racism.
