If this is a vitory for the democratic forces, why are the world leaders not hailing it as such?
This is a shamful democracy ! Even Pillaiyan does not command majority in Eastern PC & the whole world knows that . |

Both parties should have put forth people who are capable and have enough power to take decisions. Anton Bala agrees to Federal one in OSLO and came back to Wanni, got scolded by Prabha and denied agreeing to such.
Atleast you could be happy that an ex-LTTE cadre is the chief minister of Eastern Province now. |

Just curious
Did any world leader wish Pillaiyan? Did any Indian leader wish him? What about Karunanidhi, the only other 'Chief' minister who is Tamil?
If the answer is NO, why? If this is a vitory for the democratic forces, why are the world leaders not hailing it as such?

GOSL even withdrew camps in the north east during the ceasfire. allowed LTTE to come out of their region and do politics too. |

Come on man dont say you dont know the history. Everytime the GOSL came to a ceasefire, LTTE armed itself. There should be bona-fide intentions for a successul conclusion to any dispute. otherwise there would be no resolution. that is the fundamental principle in any dispute resolution.
err,,,and the GOSl did not start paying Karuna during that time? actively encouraging the split?

but hey why worry? have not R.H Ponseka declare that the peelamists will be eliminated by the end of this year?
so dont fret too much about it.

allowed LTTE to come out of their region and do politics too.
They did politics & removed Karuna.
So they are not keeping words at all. |

is ita period which makes them Get ready to fight again?
In responsible government point of view has they got any solution ?
Are they ready to share a federal system like Canada or any other country with tamils?
Both party tried to cheat each other ?
I do not think so , it never ends ....

have i not told you that the moment the tigers do that the gosl will think that they are weak and..
Generally, this is the fact.
JR talked for Japan, when they lost the war and when the world try to get the advantage.
Sinhalese may show some extreme lines due to political gains, but a good section clearly understand, wining or loosing gives nothing to Sri Lanka, since its an internal matter.
I am sure, if LTTE shows a serious need for stopping the war, IC will help to set the table. |
