See, what EAST is getting today is coming through the road LTTE made for many years.
What East got was what was implemented in 1987.
LTTE stopped the war at that time, they would have got more.
I don't think LTTE get anymore except Wanni will be on fire some time to come.
Tamils in Colombo and East are faired somewhat OK compared to the Wanni tamils who see heavens when MIGs and KFIRS fly over them. |

As long as you have all these white or red van to kill innocent Tamil youths , you will see more and more blasts in front of your house or elsewhere.
so stop talking nonsense and come out clear policy to convince Tamils. appointing Karuna's friend as chief Minister in eastern Province won't stop the struggle of LTTE the great freeedom fighters that you have never seen in your life.
Every sinhala man like you should understand that we tamils never looked for any arm struggle in the past decades but you who forced us to take arms and now you are running away from our attack and sending all these poor police men to face the powerful LTTE.
If you can't respect the Oslo agreement, it is your responsability to see all these powerful blasts .

May I know why LTTE is not succeeding yet..?
Pl dont keep those sort of ideas in mind.
This is an internal conflict and as JVP settled, it should be settled with not significant win to LTTE or GOSL.
JVP became a significant political power after they entered into politics (now loosing due to own weaknesses), but LTTE will create a strong administration for Tamils, which will have a good dignity to work parallel with Colombo in all regional matters.

we should not generalize the entire race becuse of some people but
i do agree that IF the SLA had the same number of people(rather than outnumbering the tigers by 20 times!) and the same weapons/supplies...
and both armies went to war....no need to even argue about the outcome right?

get rid of all the Suicide bombers as soon as possible
until he/she get triwheeler or motorbike and the target details, he just like you and me. No tags on them to identify who is who. They dont hold two way tickets.
the more harassments and arrests without any attempt in analysing their intention will give you more trouble.

Anyway, who cares about you diaspora EXCEPT when ever you come to Sri Lanka you will get a white Van ride and your property will be confiscated.
