It is NOT failed mission. It must have opened the eyes of guys in colombo that this war is unwinnable.
I think argument is working the other way.
Colombo blast gave many shock waves to diplomats families and its not a good image at all.
Killing police will make further hard for LTTE activities in Colombo.
And, GOSL gets further advantage to counter LTTE.
So, the bomb gave more negative than positive to LTTE I think. |

Forget abt the diplomats. Tigers never care abt wat the diplomats think.
Dont you see that tigers are getting more accurate in their attacks & succedding well in taking on targets in colombo ?
wat does this indicate ?

There are things GOSL can do and there are things GOSL cannot do, no matter what. One such is defeating Liberation Tigers.
GOSL has no military advantage for fighting in Vanni. Matara and Kili are vastly different terrains!
Besides, Had GOSL or any recent Sinhala Kingdom won any war? They lost to Dutch, lost to Portugese, lost to British...so history is against the Sinhala state.

This Forum has only War Mongers.
..
No one with peace path here.
Pl think think some are writing to promote peace.
We must not encourage LTTE, which is desperately fighting with limited resources while sending 100s of Tamils to FLD.
We must encourage GOSL to start talk at any moment, without waiting to see the fall of Vanni.
These are the facts we must promote.
Understand, there are many people want to see a healthy LTTE even after the deal to carry out politics in north and possible in east.
LTTE must evaluate all options well and must get a turn to political side, step by step.
