Pillaiyan is the by-product of causing split in the LTTE by the UNP. UNP conspired to split Karuna from LTTE and UPFA conspired to split Pillaiyan from Karuna Group.

Both major parties are involved in underhand tactics to start riots (50tees and 60tees) or splits to undermine the unity and cause eventual destruction of the country.

The Migs and Kfirs are way too fast for a dog fight with a Zlin. Zlin could easily out maneuver the jets but will not be able to out run them. The Zlin would've crashed trying to do just that at low level. Unless the jets got a lucky shot at long range, I am not sure how they would shoot a zlin down except by tossing it off the sky by a good jetblast and turbulance at close quarters.

makes sense but i highly doubt they crashed their own plane :)) for all intents and purposes

It would be difficult to spot the plane on radar from ground clutter until the plane is airborn

yes even then it might be hard due to ground clutter if they flew at treetop level

i infer that when they got wind of this attack on the 'inviting target'(the ltte is using the super-visible runway as a money-sink for the slaf :P nothing else..and also as something to tie-down the slaf's recon assests)the ziln crew went down to treetop level/terrain hugging thus efectively vanishing from the radar screens.

	They are not there to use the T- 56 to unite Tamils under one flag. LTTE is appointed to do that. For 30 years, LTTE can not do that. Anud's comments are funny...instead of saying 'the gosl has been unable to defeat the rebels for 30 years...even with overwhelming superiority in all the areas'...he goes on to claim just the opposite :)))

Some of the comments in this thread shows why politicians rob the population and still get away.
CM was not a post to be given away by MR but a position to be earned by politician.
The election itself was not democratic so what was heard was not the voice of the people.
Pilliyan position was only based on two things:

He is armed, GOSL can take a chance and work with him but don't have the confidence to work against him.

He got the most amount of votes by intimidation, impersonation and stuffing votes in front of police officers.

Hizbulla has real grievances but democracy is not the objective of Colombo but to make believe that it is now in control of the east.

The leading Muslim councillor of the ruling alliance says the appointment of the leading Tamil candidate as the Chief Minister (CM) in the east was illegal.

MLAM Hisbullah told BBC Sandeshaya that he and two other Muslim members will not support the ruling United Peoples freedom Alliance (UPFA).

MLAM Hisbullah is a very confussed Muslim.
This man beleive just one year after the libaration every thing in the East is fine and he suold get the CM post and rule happly ever after.
Get real man.

they never involved in developing Sri lanka.

they every time ENJOYED exploiting Sri Lanka and then criticizing and destroying Sri Lanka.

If Pillayen was not given the CM position they would start scream again.

and no complains that is real tamils.
