THe Sri Lankan govt killed Thamil Chelvan, head of Political wing of LTTE.

IT appeared on the RADAR and then during bombing it disappeared from RADAR. May be because of an Indian Missile.
:)) this is the first time i hear about aircraft disappearing from the sky the moment a runway gets bombed.
or are these 'aircrafts' somehow connected to the runway?..like kites?
defence.lk seems to be super-stupid :))

There was no dog fight to shoot down a plane. I know very little about planes or radar but shouldn't the plane be in the air for it to appear on radar?
The Migs and Kfirs are way too fast for a dog fight with a Zlin. Zlin could easily out maneuver the jets but will not be able to out run them. The Zlin would've crashed trying to do just that at low level. Unless the jets got a lucky shot at long range, I am not sure how they would shoot a zlin down except by tossing it off the sky by a good jetblast and turbulance at close quarters.
It would be difficult to spot the plane on radar from ground clutter until the plane is airborn unless the airforce has got a replacement to the beechcraft they lost at Anuradhapura AFB.
Ah.. Good. My technical friend Velir has appeared. What do you say.. technically.

Pillaiyan is the by-product of causing split in the LTTE by the UNP. UNP conspired to split Karuna from LTTE and UPFA conspired to split Pillaiyan from Karuna Group.
Both major parties are involved in underhand tactics to start riots (50tees and 60tees) or splits to undermine the unity and cause eventual destruction of the country. |

It is difficult to give a chief post to every politician because they say they are from a certain ethnic or religious background.
Since the chief post has to be 'given', we conclude there is still little democracy in Sri Lanka. Hence the God of Democracy is not listening to the calls of those who get the benefits as Sri Lankans.

I always stood against any form of killing of any one but guys like you rejoiced some killings and now when the tide had changed then unable to bear the same thing that you guys did on others. Every time some innocent Tamil got killed in the N or E you happily cried Terrorists . Allaipiddy, Mannar, Trinco, ..every where you left your racial impression well and truly and now crying that is too funny Mr.Double Standard.

They are not there to use the T- 56 to unite Tamils under one flag. LTTE is appointed to do that. For 30 years, LTTE can not do that.
