May be may be not. Either way that has no baring on what Rev. Desmond Tutu said.

If he said what he is quoted as saying in the LTTE PR site then we should look into specific allegation he made, investigate fully and punish any violators of HR if found. Democracies are not perfect but it's far better than the alternative (a dictatorship as such advocated by LTTE terrorists).

Cheers!

good idea!! :)))

after all srilankan monks are a special breed. the ONLY Buddhist monks in the world who run for parliment and have their own political party.

so they should know something we do not know...because why else would any Buddhist monk who is supposed to life without any attachments attach himself to elections/votes/agendas etc etc :))

so yes Dvdladv..lets em run it i say!

AG of Sri lanka said the same thing. But he put the blame on the environment created by LTTE. This is no excuse in practicing law and order.

I don't think anyone wants to put MR out of his misery. He is only a puppet. Gota and Sarath are running the show. They could be the target not MR, he is not worth it.

VP needs to kill about 16million to fulfil his dreams...

but im sure they would still support Mr to defeat the Peelamists!! after all they do not care that they have to shell out more and more of their hard earned money when even the wives of army officer s get 44 MILLION Rs car:))

Both the current contenders want the post but have not said what they want to do for the people. This monk at least said what he wants to do first. That is to settle sinhalese and protect the buddhist sites. Just give the job to the guy who has a plan than giving it to someone hoping to rob the people blind.
