Sri Lanka was a such lovely place during my childhood. My mom and dad had a lot of friends of all ethnicities and they were all awesome people.
It was even a nicer place in 1948. British left an enviable country. Tamils and other minorities were feeling like they were brothers and sisters... then the nationalists took over and turn the country to the bloody mess that we see today!

Has anyone considered Karuna.
He is coming and he will want his just reward for giving the East to the GoSL.
He is surely not going to except anything less.
CM post was promised to him by MR at the beginning.
Will MR keep his word this time?
MR made too many promises to too many people for the one post.
He would not have got any support otherwise.
But what is he going to do now?........
He has got his balls in a jam looks like it.

Has anyone considered Karuna.
Many were advocating a rotating CM which I am against but I think that's what all these guys will get. Chances are that none of them are going to live to complete their term. |

Whom it may the CM,will have a hard time with minority grievances.It's adviserbale to let a outsider to hold it.
Government will be monitoring East at every issue.
Failures in East damaging MR's brain child. |
