This was probably before I was born or when I was too young to remember. How long ago, what was his name and what happened to him? Oh man , you need to know the basic history of Ceylon .
The East has a CM now, by the way. another joke , what was the name of the Guy ? as far as i know MR struggling left and right to find a CM . |

There is a small problem because MR made two different deals with either party behind closed doors.
Hizbulla says he was promised if there were more Muslims elected, Pilliyan says he was promised based on popular votes. Based on the geography of the area Muslims have more elected with less popular vote.
So now how do you solve it? |

I vrey much actaully dought he told both that they can have CM post, thats more like someone in the papers made it up just to ruffle things up, it seems like the biggest enemies of sri lanka are in sri lanka becasue there are unpatriotic people who do not care about the country they live in, |

I think MR knew there will be a problem and he might have created this situation on purpose so that he can bring Karuna in.
don't be surprised if there is a 3rd Deal between MR and Karuna |

So either way one party is gonna get angry :))
pillayn would have 'real fireworks' (as berty pointed out) if His became cm. and the muslim ministers would resign if Pillayan got the Cm ship :))
i wouldnt want to be in Mr's shoes :)))

There is no smoke without fire..There is a role that Media plays but if it was not the truth by now MR or his spokesman would have denied it. Since there is no comments it may be TRUE.
To be frank what i heard was MR did promise Hisbulla and not Pillayan when Pillyan met him in Colombo |

There is a solution if like the federal election you get a extra seat or two based on the number of votes received.
If UPFA has room for one or two through the list they should pick the monk from JHU who said that the Sinhalese who left east should be settled and another monk and appoint one as the CM. So both will have jobs to start with. One can settle Sinhalese in the East while the other preaches for cooler tempers to prevail.
