Velir,
i seriously think that America's overwhelming superiority in the military field is gonna be seriously eroded in another 20 years or so
True...they are nowhere near creating a supersonic submarine like you guys.....now Trinco harbour, next probably will be Diego Garcia! |

Someone stole the platter
Quite possible based on the culture of politics in SL.
Thankfully eelam is not based on SL political culture. Many Tamils have fooled GOSL bringing in copies of the original but the original is safe to date. |

Not for the lack of technology. But by the nature of the adversaries they may have to fight. I mean look at the world today.. George Bush, The NorthKorean guy, the Iranian.. all kinds of lunatics.

No worries. ML uses the pol-kola version.

Thus you are looking at it in the wrong way by saying eelam is not here (yet) our achievement is forestalling this grand project of destroying our nation for 60 years.
well said revy!.
before they ask what the tamils have done towards achieving their(tamils) goal
they ought to ask what a great country with overwhelming resources has done in the past 25 years...cant they simply squash the 'bunker Rat peelamists' into pulp?
:))))

ok now to 'serious' discussion :P
what i meant in the above comment is that America will be unable to maintain its overwhelming superiority because of 2 reasons
1 the ever-increasing cost of its new weapons systems, R&D
2 the increasing economic might of other countries.
America already is not the fore-runner in some fields...and its going to get compounded in the future.

but the tigers will not need that nor would thay have the technology to build such stuff
they would go for much cost-effective options i guess
