i seriously think that America's overwhelming superiority in the military field is gonna be seriously eroded in another 20 years or so

Sorry mate I had to step away, what I am saying is that while you personally agree that Tamils were wronged and that our rights should be respected like any other citizens, this is not what your state wants to do. Even before there was an LTTE the state was slowly but surely trying to make sure Tamils ended up like natives of the Americas or Aboriginies of Australia a minority in their own lands with no options but to do what their Sinhalese masters told them to. This mindset may have changed in some individuals but those in power still see only this grand project.

Thus you are looking at it in the wrong way by saying eelam is not here (yet) our achievement is forestalling this grand project of destroying our nation for 60 years.
