Moby has seen a nice dream where sinhala army defeated chola army in south india.
But the very same army has not been able for the past 30 years defeat less than 3000 (child soldiers) of LTTe with over 200,000 troops, guns, ships and migs.

Its not that LTTE is invisible but they are hiding behind twisted knickers. No matter how desperate you are it is hard to bit a dogs leg.If LTTE move away from th civilians there wont be a story to discuss.
Who were were hiding behind refuge camps,who dig cock pits in hospital premises,Who use shrines to attack moving forces,Who starve there own people for Patti desires,
Who keep spouse & relatives until completion of vp damn desires,,,etc

and what makes you think that we sri lankans want to finish this off asap, remember according to dbs jeyaraj we need to extend this to little bit more..
so at the end all the WETAMIL can get a toilet cleaning job in a another country!
The census figures of 1963, 1971 and 1981 show gradual decrease percentage wise. If a proper census is taken now the Tamil population percentage would be much less. It may not be 1. 9 % as NU said but it could certainly be less than 5%.

We don't dream. We were always wide awake. Its the Eelamist like you has been sleeping and dreaming the past 30 years and just woke up to see reality.

The LTTE and its supporters often assert that a guerilla movement fighting for the goal of national liberation cannot be defeated militarily. This may or may not be true but the point to be taken note of is something else.
If the prolonged armed struggle for Tamil Eelam is leading to a gradual decline of the Tamil population in Sri Lanka then the ultimate losers will be the Tamils themselves.
A minority would be made a microscopic minority and therefore made easily manageable by the numerical majority.
