Muslims were asked to leave Jaffna for their own safety.If not, the muslim women would have been raped and murdered by the Tamil traitors and by the sinhala cowards who ooccupied our Homeland and would have put the blame on the Tigers.
It was like taking a person into custody for his own safety.That doesn't mean that the person was imprisoned without a trial. |

British public have endorsed,Vietnam,Palastinians and ANC,

For the same reason,the public supported Charles De Gaulle and his Free movement, who fought the occupied Nazis and De Gaulle commanded the Free French Movement from the British soil.
Here we are comparing very extreme cases.
Vietnam was a case 100% foreign supported capitalism and communism.
British didnt publicly endorsed Palestine war activities are productive for peace there.
ANC is so clear problem and not only British, Sri Lankan government even banned when our Cricket team went there.
Foreign invaders are in France, British helped France,..since they were in same side.
I dont think in this era of high communication, suicide bombs and killing political leaders are facts that British can endorse. Yet, there is some sympathy, since Tamils are the minority in SL, but its not a license to continue war I think.

Don't waste time pasting useful info here. Most of the Peelamist here chooses to ignore the facts. They cant handle the multiple blows they are receiving from all fronts. international, national and even from their own lot. Just jealous that Thalaivar will not even make it to 60 let alone Oxford Union Podium....

So, now the junta government is pinning all its hopes on this fellow called Pillian. They did so with Karuna. Karuna excaped.
Lets we forget, it was Pilliyan who master mineded the Sri mahabodi massacre when he was still in LTTE camp.

The junta government would welcom VP with garlands tomorrow if he agrees to join the government.
