The problem in Politics we don't fail to praise all our past leaders while they are in Power but condemn them after they leave. I suppose it is a SL culture. That can happen to our President too.

I don't think You can compare a speech in Oxford Vs a rare media briefing with question and answers. Remember VP still took questions..
MR paid to be there. I do not know why? People are invited to speak not buy their invitation.
How dose VP get onto the picture? VP has nothing to do with this. VP is not someone who will do something like this, he is a top stratagiest MR on the other hand is a top criminal.There is no comparison. |

When i was young, My friend and I used to get dressed and go for Weddings dinner's without invitation..we simply gate crash..the bride side thinks we are from the groom side and the grooms side think we are from the bride side..
The bottom line is we have a great FREE meal..lolz
I was never Invited..U need guts to speak..and MR got guts..lolz

They are human and we have hindsight(the 20/20 kind), lol we like some of their features while hating some others .
Prema was a great worker's prez he would have developed SL well if he was not foolish enough to fall for VPs lies.
JR was intelligent and cunning but too naive in some aspects.
Sirima - ok I dont even know where to start . lol
If MR gets rid of this menace by hook or by crook he will be greater than them all , but does not mean we will completely love him either .

One Sri Lankan in HK told me that he was very unhappy that some old fart has told people that Sri Lankans in HK are shop lifters.
