Powersharing is what he will have to sell to the two guys . It is better than being in the wilderness and both (communities) will be able to benefit .

Karuna I am sure will be put to good use in other areas . He is too good a resource to lose .

Yes that he is . Also he never had the desire to retire . (Even though I am glad he did ) . If the selectors let him he would have played till 50. lol

Looks like only option!! but will that stop the Violence and the killings..Will MR just step aside and let them kill eachother..well that could be the plan..what i heard was MR never promised Pillyan anything when he met him recently and Pillyan was angry.

I also heard that nothing was promised to either . I hope it can be worked out . Pillian is supposed to be known for his temper I am told . But what is on the table should not be squandered for the good of all communities .

I dont think it will be that hard to protect Karuna in Colombo . East might be a different issue .

I was referring to the contentious eastern election and the issue of Chief minister-ship that the president has to deal with . Ofcource as you very rightly pointed out this pales in comparison to the importance to chit chatting with a bunch of students from a University . What an unbelievable bonehead you are . Karuna was promised CM post even before he handed the East to the GoSL.
MR tried to double XX Karuna and sent him to UK and arranged his arrest hoping to get rid of Karuna. Looks like plan backfired. Karuna is back and wants his CM post.MR is in hot soup.Lets see how MR gets out of this one.

Subject suposed to be 'Strategy towards empowering the rural economy in Sri Lanka' but the poor MR almost cried abour LTTE in every sentence he spoke.
