Look at the photos in defenceless.lk, all the non terrorists are bored out of their minds.
But the Sinhala state terrorist fans are the only ones paying any attention :):)
i totally agree! look at the guys in the pic:))
and seems like most of the people who were there were lankan's with a 'visitor's pass' :P

BAKAMOONA !
You were upgraded to a Senior while you were out cold. Congratulations. We were worried about you man. Go easy on the single malt.
ParakumB,
The Peace we had under Ranil was like peace achieved by paying for protection from Mafia. He bribed the terror goons to let him govern in peace, Don Juan Dharmapala is famous for doing the same with Portuguese.
That CFA was a failure because of all of the above. RW never had the required leadership quality to save the day. There has to be a better way to beat the LTTE than trying to go after them with guns. We need to find a few Karuna's and Pillayans in Vanni.

Why other Countries are so interested about Sri Lanka
And why Ranil is promoting that ?
US and European envoys meet Ranil and Rauff
Diplomats from US, German, British, Italian and Swiss missions in Colombo met UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe and SLMC leader Rauff Hakeem at the UNP leader s residence this morning to discuss the Eastern PC polls.
The following is the Real situation of UNP at present. Sri Lankan people should understand it.
This is the reason why people can't place trust in UNP anymore and is being rejected by the masses. Rather than being a patriotic, constructive, progressive opposition, UNP have become a spineless lackey for western countries. Who wants servants of western nations to lead them? No wonder UNP keeps loosing one election after another, not to mention its member legislators. What we need are patriotic statesmen, not pro-western servants and whimpy cry babies

gons:
We have no problem of Tamils being buddhists. Buddhism is not tied to a race. It is you guys who label Singhalese as SinghalaBuddhists. Since you know so much about Buddhism, you would agree with me then, that buddhism has nothing to do with what is going on in SL.
^^ gons you are quoting 'theory'. in lanka the people have always connected Sinhalese with buddhism
need i show evidence?..rem the statements 'Sinhala buddhist country'..'the last place of true Buddhism'..etc etc?
AnuD here went ahead and claimed that Tamils were NOT buddhists ever :)) at the same time accepting that Bodhidharma was a Tamil...im confused..
what is he saying???
and yes BuddhaGosha who wrote a lot in Lanka was a tamil from Tamilakam too.
but in this century the Sinhalese have claimed sole-ownership of a religion that they converted to and go as far as claiming that its 'their' 'Sinhala Buddhism' that has to be the guiding principle for this nation.

this is again VELIR's racism.
Even today, many Western monks are living in Sri Lanka as it was the case in the Past.
S. Mahinda was a Tibetan though he lived in Sri Lanka.

Rajapaksa in Oxford...
This day is a black day for Oxford, because they let this Terrorist President to enter a very respectable place to spill sh.t on the vicinity of a highly respectable place..
What he said is exactly suitable for him not for the LTTE..
Simply put the name of Rajapaksa instead of LTTE,it will make more sense, because he is the real 'Terrorist'next to Mr.Sam.. |
