Tamils rallied round Lanka Govt. - TMVP

The Tamil people of the Eastern Province had reposed their trust in the UPFA during the recent Provincial Council election and over 80 percent of them voted for the policies of the present Government, Assad Mowlana spokesman of the TMVP told The Island yesterday (12)
He said the Tamil people and others of the Eastern Province had their own problems and they expected the government to address these problems.
`We wish to thank all the voters who had rallied round us to ensure the victory of the UPFA at the election,` he said.

| The Tamil people have now realised that President Mahinda Rajapakse is the only person who has seriously thought about their genuine grievances & demands......Readers could visit the East development website....we appeal to all Tamil brothers & sisters to give their full support & rally round the Govt., to liberate the North and hold the next 'North Provincial Council Elections' to elect a Tamil Chief Minister & Council to develop the North as well, I am pretty sure in such a scenario, the North P/Council will get a massive Financial Aid from many Countries and the North will be developed better than all other Provinces. |

How fine MR or Southern Politicians going to work out a Process, to keep Minority faith and LTTE at arms length.
TMVP and Douglas both of past Terror group should Lean
to wards Other Tamil Politicians to form a common front to
bring proposals or implement 13th amendment.
MR has done the difficult part of laying ground work to a common platform for all communities. |
