For some reason Pillaiyan reminds me of the TE's (Joined N/E) first CM, varatharajapperumal, who was elected such an election like this and protected by 130000 IPKF and 120000 GOSL forces. Anybody know what happened to him.
Also I am wondering whether Pillaiyan will send the Occupying Sinhala barbarians out of the east and bring the peace to East.

Pillayan is a elected member now. He may be a piece of garbage to you. But not for the people trying to find an end to the violence. Biggest threat to Pillayan is not from the GoSL.

This is a far fetched hope. Under the current system any development in any part of the country will still come under that ministry in the central government. This only created another layer of beauracy. |

When I said the biggest bang for the buck, I meant that is where people will see the biggest change for each buck. It will give greater political mileage in the east than anywhere else in the country.
Remember, this situation today is all about political mileage. That's it. |

Dishonesty and 'divide and rule' policy of the Sinhala Buddhist ruin the country.

How can people who demean others on the basis of their ethnicity resolve any problem?
Firsdt accept all communities are Sri Lankans with equal rights and whoever wind the election leads the governing body.
Tamil-Muslim division engineered by Rajapakse brothers will explode on their faces. Pillaiyan-Hisbulla fight will set Tamils against Muslims and Pillaiyan will use his guns to assume superiority as MR does in Vanni. Gun kills people and therefore revert back to genuine approach to resolve the problem by negotiations. |
