With this opportunity, GOSL must train and encourage Pilleyan and the new admin as a model team to develop the east.

According to UN Sri Lanka is one of the most dangerous places.
United Nations agency recently declared Sri Lanka one of the world's most dangerous places for aid workers and journalists. It is also a terrifying place to be a soldier. Both the government and its opponents, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), count scores of fighters killed and hundreds wounded during recent fighting. Sri Lanka's already horrific war is entering a quantitatively new phase

17 aid workers were allegedly killed by the Sri Lankan army more than a year ago but not a single culprit is apprehended even though their names were published.

Berty:

Just watch how LTTE will try their best to disrupt the development in the east. They will continue to do things like blasting transformers etc which has more impact on civilian life than anything else. Developed east will be detrimental to LTTE.

Pilleyan and the team just elected, formally.
So, power must go for them.

How they perfume will decide their political future.
I am sure MR will let these people to run the admin.

Its the easiest way to divide ideas among north LTTE supporters and push northern Tamils into politics.

I too think that Pillian should be the CM of eastern province. MR should implement the power sharing proposal to give more powers to provinces including the police, education, health, etc.
