Costa,
Same with Tamils, you won't stand up against the LTTE and say what they are doing is wrong, may be just sympathies when somebody gets killed from a suicide bomb.
We will do it if
1. LTTE started the fight in 1956 without trying peaceful protests or other means to gain our rights to be equal to any Sri Lankan.
or
2. If Sinhala polity comes with a reasonable solution to the problemj based on justice and equality.
All that is happening is MR's producing the discredited 13th Amendment as the solution to demerge N and E and hire those branded as 'terrorists' by Sinhala leaders themselves to lead those talking boxes without any power or money to do anything constructive.
Why do you want to control the minorities?
Why cannot they have autonomy to develop their areas?
Why is it that Sinhalas should dismiss or dissolve the PCs elected by the local people?
What God's given right have your leaders got to keep the minorities under their clutches? |

Sintamus,
but, cunning fox JRJ did not let him have power or money to do any development work.
He certainly got Goodwill of the People for the genuine work he did. This kind of blockade happens not just in Sri Lanka nor just at that level. It happens all over the world including here in Australia. Hence my fights against those elements.

Just for reading...
So you do understand commenting on it is pointless. The last I phoned SL was on Saturday and what I heard was just the opposite. |

I just learned that they are fighting for justice for Singhalese too. What a noble cause.
You are all moderates, I believe.
Whenever you have time please read the book written by Prof Wijemanne ( an intellectual and independently thinking Sinhalese gentleman). His writing are thoughts provoking to all the Sinhalese and not just the moderates. |

Sintamus,
The majority goes with the wind.
This means we Sri Lankans are yet to harness the value of majority force. The more we focus on wins and losses the more we scatter that majority force. Majority force works when majority do not have their own agenda.

Why MR has not arranged a Jeyasikkuru General election yet like Jeyasikkuru east provincial council election?
If he arrange, he can easily get 2/3 majority. No need to suspend the parliament. Pillaiyan will ensure the victory in the east. Dogclass will ensure the victory in the North. Dr. Mervyn Silva will ensure the victory in the south. If needed, Ratwatte and his sons could be reactivated in the central to ensure the victory in the central etc... |

Gaja,
cunning fox JRJ did not let him have power or money to do any development work.
What JRJ did was diabolical.
In 1958 he started the riots to sabotage the BC Pact signed by Tamil leader SJVC and the democratically elected PM SWRD.
Nothing comparable happened in your part of the world. |

Yes ,their suicide bombers and pistol gang + thug army killed thousands of Sinhalese civilians so far for justice.
