The elevation of SL president to the status of a English dog trainer is something every Sri Lankan must be proud of.
The dog trainer has agreed to take questions from the audience but the leader of chauvinists is frightened of Oxford University students and refused to do so because he fears that he cannot answer questions on his record of restarting the ethnic war and human rights violations.
MR may know that ill treatment of dogs in UK including denying their basic needs is a criminal offense.

IS there a coincidence that MR gives a speech just before the Dog Trainer? Is there a connection between how to restore democracy in the East and Dog training? Hmmmmmm...I wonder..... |

Fact is the groups that carried out the attacks on Muslims were led by Karuna. Pillayan was also possibly involved in the killings.
Whether the Muslims choose the LTTE or Pillayan, it is a Hobson's choice for them. Pillyan's actions in the Batti district and the actions of the Sinhala Racists in the Ampara and Trinco districts in the coming days will have more to do with the reaction of the Muslims. |

Not really. The Muslims see no difference between the LTTE and Karuna/Pillayan. They have a new enemy in Sinhala Racists who want to Sinhalise the Ampara and Trinco districts. Pillayan as CM will greatly facilitate the plan of the Sinhala Racists.
In this scenario, the chances are that the LTTE and Muslims will have common cause against Pillayan and Sinhala Racists. |
