The government yesterday declared Saturday s victory at the first election to the Eastern Provincial Council (EPC) would strengthen the ongoing campaign to defeat the Vanni Tigers.
Also GOSL must see the win as willingness of eastern people for general life through politics.
So, taking the win as a certificate for the war is not a friendly thinking for north people.
GOSL must sell the east election result to win hearts of north Tamils, and conduct the war only for very limited manner to keep LEET busy and drag them to talk.
In East, GOSL dint remove 100% Tamil resistance.
Karuna finally became a partner.
These matters must be considered well. |

Why LTTE didnt go for an all out campaign to block the election?
Since due to lack of power in east or they are planing to have talks in coming future, or, they have no interests of elections....?
