Now that Tamil rule has been restored, when are you taking back the Veera Soorayas? They don't need to pollute the east anymore with their Haitian antics!

No no, let the SLDF still be deployed in the East...cant be too complacent now, can we?

THE US didn't leave just because elections were held in Iraq...

President leaves for Oxford
(Lanka-e-News, May 11, 2008, 6.30 PM) President Mahinda Rajapakse left for London today (11) to address the Oxford University students on the invitation of the Students Union of the university.

What say you, Peelamists?

When will Rt. Hon. Velu be invited to address in Oxford?

Or would Rt. Hon Velu be more comfortable bounded to an Ox cart, rather than in Oxford?

According to news reports some 900 children are supposedly buried under rubble in China after it was hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake.

Sinhala racism buried 70,000 Sri Lankans since 1956 the year of Sinhala Only Act. They have no shame in enslaving minorities, occupy their areas without any consultation of civilians or their representatives, aerial bombing, blockade of essentials, killing of aidworkers and NGOs with impunity.

They ruined the economy by making the governance into family businesses. They use racism to get elected and employ family members to enhance families and project dynasty.

:))

Army has the right to be deployed anywhere in this country....by voting for this election, eastern Tamils have accepted the sovereignty of this country, as well as the right to be protected by its forces.

What really happened in Haiti? World news didn't carry more than a foot note about the incident, while replacements from SL were sent, also some of the SL officers were decorated recently by the UN for exceptional work and service. Even the special adviser for security in Sudan is a SL Police officer who was gain decorated and awarded by the UN.

the only bad news that were carried was for the diaspora with a small debit note attached....

The president has paid millions to an advertising agency in UK to arrange an Oxford Union address to gain popularity at the expense of poor Sri Lankan masses who cannot make ends meet due to rocketing inflation.

The chauvinist MR and a dog trainer are addressing the Oxford Union one after the other.
the government had hired the British public relations firm Bell Pottinger to get the Oxford Union to invite the President.

It is learnt President Rajapakse who is to speak on establishing democracy in the east will not take questions after his speech.

Details of how much Bell Pottinger is paid by the government for its services was not available at the time of going to press.

Amy Hatcher a dog trainer is to address the union soon after President Mahinda Rajapakse on May 13 at 8:30pm.
