Any govt. that riggs elections cannot be trusted just like the SL President.
Remember, what LTTE did for Ranil in a previous election..?
In EAST, over 2000 poll observers went to the field and declared Election had some incidents but not bad enough to affect the results.
Specially after the war, we cant expect a PERFECT election.
Over 60% voted, and thats a considerable amount.
AND, dont forget, not only Pilleyan but also Hakeem and Ranil people may did some wrong moves in East.
We must expect a better election next time. |

The Sunday Leader learns the President is scheduled to address the union on Tuesday and is expected to leave the country for London today.
The Sunday Leader learns the government had hired the British public relations firm Bell Pottinger to get the Oxford Union to invite the President.
It is learnt President Rajapakse who is to speak on establishing democracy in the east will not take questions after his speech.
Details of how much Bell Pottinger is paid by the government for its services was not available at the time of going to press.
Amy Hatcher a dog trainer is to address the union soon after President Mahinda Rajapakse on May 13 at 8:30pm.
Amy will be talking about her life experiences and the positive communication methods that help teach dogs right from wrong.
So you will know wat respect MR gets from Students.

You are correct. Pillaiyan will demand More & MR will bring in Karuna into east.
Then Pillaiyan will switch over to Prabha & whole World will know wat devolution siht package Mahinda is throwing in their Faces.

Only IDPs did not vote the govt because they are displaced they showed their displeasure.
Other wise, Easter n provincial election showed that tamils are still voting main stream political parties and not the Tamil parties.
