Airline sources said that Sri Lanka faces the risk of removal from membership of ICAO, which in turn will mean the wholesale withdrawal of airlines entering Sri Lanka s airspace.


This is a crap statement by Sunday Times.

Tigers, Lions and vegetarians

Sri Lankans has two species of dangerous felines - Lions and Tigers. The tigers are known the world over as a very dangerous animal. The tigers that are black in color are said to be more dangerous. The lion as we all know cannot really hunt, it's a lioness that does the hunting and the lioness is very effective at driving other animals out of the forests.

The 'tigers' themselves were born with because of the misadventures of the 'lions'. The lions over the last fifty years did lots of things they shouldn't have done. As a result the tigers were born and they soon started to gobble up the lions. The lions on the other hand don't have an affinity for tiger meat,
but they frequently attack the tigers in their caves to drive them out, only to see black tigers invade their own caves and devour the lion cubs.

Two summers back a vegetarian lion spoke to the tigers and suggested that they too should become vegetarians so that everyone can eat the grass in peace. The tigers were getting tired of lion meat and started talking to the lions about vegetarianism.

Just when the tigers were on the verge of becoming not just vegetarians but vegans, a bunch of flesh eating lions lead by the alpha female, chased out the vegetarian lion. Now it seems that the tigers haven't learnt everything they wanted to know about vegetarinism and you can hear their stomachs rumbling. Some tigers say they wouldn't mind eating up other tigers as long instead of eating grass.

What about Lions

Gaja:
Sinhalese have the responsibility to find their own 'catch-phrases' about lions - unless you want Tamils to do that also.


lol come on Voodoo..u are not going to let this go unchallenged are you?

why dont u, andryprem.anu tzu and the gang do a pow-wow and come up with some good catch phrases for the lions?

but even then the catch phrases me Gaja and me provided have been in use for more than a thousand years:))

I didnt ask her anything about Tamils or Sinhalese.

She told something about animal Tigers.

I asked about animal Lions.

But she comes up with Sinhala race.

Unless she is troubled with racism this doesn't occur.

and have i not seem enough racist posts from u?.so whats there to be offended about her comment? i mean ...haven't you heard anu Tzu and others waxing on and on about how sinhalese are 'Lions' etc etc?

so you ought to be happy that instead of making a lame catch-phrase for the lions she let you choose one :))

so you have to thank her instead of complaining :))

This is not crap!

Tamil Eelam will develop Iranamadu into a major international airport. Sri Lanka airspace may be gone, but TE airspace will be open to the world!
